  Vi-CELL XR Cell Viability Analyzer

Beckman Coulter Vi-CELL™ XR Cell Viability Analyzer provides an automatic and almost maintenance free means to perform the Trypan Blue Dye Exclusion method, allowing users to load up to 10 samples at once for easy and automated cell percent viability, total cell & viable cell concentration and mean cell size. Without using slide, the user can load up the samples into the carousel, login in the samples in the system and let it run the system will pull sample, identify cells and show a single sample in 3 minutes. Data points of total cell count and viability percent are electronically recorded and stored by the software system which is 21 CFR Part 11 compliance ready, reducing potential errors in manual recording. All stored data will provide bioprocess tracking & graphs available, including viability %, viable size distribution, and total cells /mL.

Beckman Coulter cleanroom compatible Vi-CELL BLU Cell Viability Analyzer leverages the key performance features of the Vi–CELL XR but incorporates many design improvements. It provides an automatic means to perform the Trypan Blue Dye Exclusion method. Allowing users to load up to 24 samples from carousel or from 96-well plate at once (Walkaway Operation) for easy and automated cell percent viability, total cell & viable cell concentration and mean cell size. By decreasing tubing length and inner diameter enables smaller sample volumes of 170µL or 200µL for analysis. And with cutting-edge liquid handling as optimized syringe pump speed accelerates trypan blue dye mixing and flow cell washing time while minimizing the introduction of bubbles and high speed camera imaging technology enables the system to continue capture images as the sample flows continuously through the flowcell enable to increase the speed of sample analysis with 130 second for normal model down to 90 second in FAST model.
